Funerals and WakesSadly, not every family occasion is a happy one and the death of a loved one not only leaves family members with long term issues to deal with but also more immediate practical problems such as the funeral to organise and, how to 'entertain' guests after the service. Organising a funeral and wake can be very difficult and distressing at such a time of grief, and this is exacerbated by the fact that there is usually so little time for planning. Although the topic of death and funeral wishes remain a very taboo subject and is rarely discussed in Western Culture, particularly amongst younger people, most of us like to think of a funeral as an opportunity to celebrate the life of someone you loved. All of us, though we probably rarely discuss it, have an idea of the sort of funeral we want and often, that vision includes things which may not be instantly accessible at short notice to the person with the responsibility of organising it. If the deceased has expressed a wish to have a non-religious (humanist) ceremony or instructed that their ashes should be scattered somewhere more unusual, we can help you to make all the necessary arrangements. At PrimeTime Events Ltd we offer a very efficient and sympathetic service to families. Ask us to:
